Company History
AIM Aviation (Jecco) Limited was originally founded under the name of John E Clarke and Company (Bournemouth) Limited in 1926, a coach and car trimming business. The first government contract for 4000 Astern Attack Targets was followed by the design and manufacture of items such as aircraft covers, oxygen bags, dinghy packs, troop seats, supply drop parachutes and instrument cases. The Westland Helicopter group became a major customer and the business increased with helicopter interiors and covers.
AIM Aviation's reputation for innovation has progressed through complete interiors for Saab Aircraft and Concorde interior furnishings to major contracts on both Airbus and Boeing wide and narrow body aircraft for the world’s leading airlines.
