Proven weight and safety sensitive programmes, using advanced composite developments and innovative lighting concepts and electronics, provide today’s sophisticated passenger with a luxury ambiance and boutique hotel style experience.

Emirates A380

Emirates Airlines teamed with partners AIM Aviation and Pierrejean Design (France) to create an evolution of premium cabin design and realisation for Emirates Airbus A380; the quietest and most harmonious airliner in service.

The First Class passenger, arriving at the aircraft’s unique forward staircase, is greeted by a magnificent floor-to-ceiling bar having a backlit waterfall flanked by tulip shaped illuminated transparencies. The furniture is more redolent of the private salon of a super yacht or a luxury hotel suite than a revenue passenger airliner. This installation provides a warm welcoming and very different, exclusive and luxurious introduction to what will become one of life’s pleasurable travel experiences. The bar top surfaces are of exceptional quality using natural black granite with an oval white onyx insert side lit by a bank of LEDs. The natural stone surfaces exude class and are cool to touch.

The Business Class lounge comprises of nine individual elements providing an unique social interaction and refreshment zone. After take off, moving to the rear of the upper deck, the passenger finds a welcoming lounge with the same ChameleonTM warm wood finishes finishes as the First Class bar with more extensive lighting features.

This lounge is separated from the business cabin by a pair of double curvature suede covered partitions with internally illuminated iconographic images of modern Dubai.

The centrally located bar is horseshoe shaped with its top surfaces presenting side lit natural white onyx sourced from central Asia. The displays behind the bar feature fully adjustable lighting reflecting off tulip shaped mirrors with provision for chilled drink stowage and displays for glasses and bottles. There are two leather trimmed sofas and floor mounted colour variable standard lights to give a comfortable relaxing ambience.

The lounge is finished in its rear wall by a full height furnishing unit displaying commercial aviations’ largest video entertainment display.

Emirates B777 Bar and Storage Unit

Fitted to the Emirates B777 fleet, the bar is situated in the aircraft at Door 1 and provides the “wow” factor for all passengers when boarding. The bar front is curved with subtle sweeping lines to draw the eye towards the bottle of Dom Perignon nestling in an ice bucket under the centre compartment feature LED down-lighters. The edge illuminated Onyx bar top draws your attention to the natural cracks and fissures, distinctly arresting the progress of the edge lighting through the solid stone, as the amber coloured light bleeds into one of Mother Nature’s greatest creations enhanced by AIM technology. The bar is capped with soft touch paint. The whole bar appears to float in space; an effect created by down lighting the polished recessed kick strips with a harsh but effective white LED flood.

In the centre is a bottle and glass presentation area with LED down-lighters and curved mirrors (another first from AIM for the aviation industry) it has gold plated bottle and glass retainers to compliment the gold Emirates logo fitted to the centre sliding door. Behind the four lower contoured doors is stowage for crew bags and the mandatory first aid kit. To the lower sides are folding cart stowages. The upper wings have coat stowage areas with AIM’s unique illuminated coat rails linked to cabin mood lighting. Each passenger’s belongings, coats and identifying boarding cards are illuminated.
